Is it worth fulfilling a childhood dream?

How many of us remember a childhood dream that is still unfulfilled? Here is Ady's childhood dream that he remembers very well and finally working on it.
Ady was eleven years old.  One evening, he saw an advertisement in the newspaper, "how to become a successful writer." He remembers well that it was 279 UK pounds fee for that course of creative writing. It was from "The writer's bureau, UK," written in bold letter "earn while you learn," money back guarantee. He was so excited after reading it that he could not resist, and immediately, took a yellow color post letter, to write to the advertiser, to send him more details about the course. There were no emails that time.
The advertiser sent him details within a week, with a gray color form. Ady rushed to his father with it and said, "Papa, I want to apply for it." His father thought he was kidding and is not serious. His father used a trick and said, "sure son, get 95% in this year's school exam, then I will happily register you in this course." So, Ady's desire was somewhat suppressed that time. Later, he realized, his father did not want him to be distracted from his another big goal of becoming an engineer.
He grew up and joined engineering college, as planned. He still had his interest towards writing. During college time, he wrote some stories and one of his stories was published in the college magazine. That made him very happy. He wrote few horror, comedy, and other kinds of stories during that time. After leaving the college, he started worrying about getting the job. Whenever he introspected himself what he actually wants to be, his answer to himself always was, to become a writer. But, his well-wishers advised him not to be the writer as writers used to earn very less. He could imagine himself with a bag in one hand, wearing cheap slippers, and with cheap clothes, with curiosity in mind to satisfy desires of becoming the best. In his first interview for a job, when the interviewer asked what he wants to be in the near future, he immediately said, "a writer." That was an end to that interview and of course, he was rejected in it. It suppressed his idea of writing any story anymore. After the struggle and great efforts, he got his first job and did well in it for many years in his field of work, with multiple top performance awards. But deep inside, he knew he wanted to see his name on a book cover, "authored by Ady."
After many years, again, a creative course attracted him, to start writing once again. But, due to tight schedules, he dropped the idea. But finally, he realized that if there is a will, there is a way, and that right time will never come. He started relating his writing hobby with his performance at the work. He also realized that people perform better at their job if they spend time on their hobbies. Finally, he joined three writing courses online and continuing his journey of becoming a better writer, with the dream, to see his name on a book cover, "authored by Ady."
